Yea that's not one of the nicest Akrapovic exhausts that I've seen before. I prefer something a bit more slick and streamlined. This one seems a little over-designed.

 

i'd hate it if it was something that looks like that.
I think Akra knows better than to create an exhaust that looks like that for the scrambler, something that stays true to it's design will be ideal

Stay calm Nick, they did not commit to either a slip on or a full system so think cost wise it would be comparable to the Monster options.

They would not give a release date so every one on here should email them and ask the question as i have, hopefully that will motivate them into action,

Have full system akrapovik evolution titanium with carbon fiber can on my BMW S1000R. Great sound, value and a few extra HP also. The slip on is worthless. Sounds crappy and no extra power.. Same goes for the Termigoni. But the quality of the full termi system on my streetfighter was worth the 3500 bucks IMO. That price hurt

I do assume that there would be more than one exhaust from Akrapovic that would be compatible with the Scrambler. So if you don't like that one, there should be others to choose from.

 

My dealer told me last year that Ducati is switching from Termignoni to Akrapovic this year.
Still waiting for the akrapovic exhaust for the scrambler though

The full high level Termi system costs £1280 and the Termi slip-on costs £874 at UK prices less whatever discount your dealer will give you. Both do away with the cat, which is built into the standard end can, and both come with an up-map on a USB stick.

I see Glasgow Ducati has published prices for the accessories including Termi exhausts but not much info and certainly the USB stick re-map is (good) news to me.

 

The Termi slip on is expensive, but if you minus the cost of a Power Commander and setup on a dyno it's not that bad.

It's this that's pushing me more and more towards the Termi

this is the number 1 mod, after the astetic paints, enduro bar and grill, and and seat switch. fully intended for the SC project low, but a slip like the megaphone from this outfit will do nicely at a slash of the full system i desire. C'mon Akrapovic!
