I'm curious to know what people are doing with their USB port.

I have a lot to do with mine and have all the hardware waiting for it.

1)Intend to move the USB socket up front to the handle bar area. will be used for action cam, GPS, emergency charging duties for bluetooth device, phone etc
2)Need to add a 12V socket for my DIY bike pressure wash & blow dryer
3)Need to add a battery health indicator right alongside it - have spent a fortune on dead batteries in bikes due to my erratic usage patterns.

something like this will get added somewhere along the handlebar area:

Keeps my iPhone charged for running the Navigon app on long rides. I can set up longer complicated routes on Google maps, then export them for Navigon with an app called ITN Converter and email them to my phone. Not worrying about the route and having voice navigation in my headset is awesome.

That an iPhone 6 / 6 plus? If so, what mount are you using?

Wild Man, I'm afraid this 5V USB rated at 10 Watts max (the USB standard) will not be able to run a tire pump. Neither the voltage, nor the power rating is correct for the job.

Even I have a 12V Slime Tire pump and that's why I've always drawn a separate fused line from directly from the battery - to run all my essential 12V devices on my bikes.

I intend to do the same on my Scrambler.

Awesome. I would like to eventually get a phone mount and have it charge. Is running the line under the tank hard to do? I'm not handy at all unfortunately and have never worked on bikes. Only been riding a year but would like to learn. Would love to see photos of how its run if anyone has any.

Also would love to see everyone's phone mounts!

Of you buy the DDS KEY you can download data from trips, its like extracting info from the central map. I am not saying is usefull [emoji13]

It does and it doesn't work. My Droid still works as a GPS rig and on wi-fi you can download google maps. With data service you get real-time map drawing. The GPS still works for a speedo app, but your maps might get weird if you don't have them loaded. If you pay for an app like Garmin's you get the maps saved onto the phone full time.

If you use Lumia phone (Windows phone), you don't need any wifi, data or service to use the map. HERE map allows you to download maps and use it offline, and GPS is free for everybody. Basically you can turn off all connections except for the GPS, and you can still use the phone as a navigator.

It's the only good thing I find in Windows phone :)
