The Ducati Scrambler is meant to be customized, but it ain't bad stock either. I'm wondering how many people are planning on just leaving their bike stock.

This Road and Track article has a sound cloud file in it that lets you here the the exhaust note stick. And it sounds good!

Most customization will be aesthetic however. Who is going to be happy with the Scrambler exactly how it comes out of the box?

My good side always says to myself "self, it looks great stock." Then the dark side of me comes over and says "self, who u kidding? You know you need full exhaust system and might as well have it installed before delivery if they don't demand 600 mile first. Then the bad guy says "are you really happy with these stock mirrors, rearsets, grips?" after about 5000-600 miles he tells me my ass aches from crappy stock seat. AND as soon as I have finished all the mods, he says "oh ****, those blinkers could really use an upgrade. and then.....

I definitely won't keep mine stock but what I will do is ride it enough stock to get a feel for what it's like, then throw on modifications that change how it rides, feels and sound. At least then i'll appreciate every step further I take it.
