Apologies for my ignorance, what are the advantages to placing deposit / purchasing from a Ducati dealership vs an multi-brand dealer?

I dont know if I should leave my deposit with Ducati Newport or Del Amo Redondo Beach, any help or information would be greatly appreciated!

Realistically there is little TANGIBLE difference. However, at a Ducati specific retailer you get the benefit of product focus. Sales people are likely to be more informed/more passionate about Ducati then they are in a multi brand dealer, where the goal is sales, not Ducati sales...

Go with your gut, who's offering the better package?

I think that only the official dealer can order the bike (and factory's optionals) directly to National Importer / Manufacturer.

multi brand usually have the bike trough the official dealer, I don't know how they sould handle high buyers' request.... If official dealer couldn't have "plenty" bikes from factory, I suppose multibrands will not receive bikes

As far as i know that is correct, a multi brand dealer will still have to get the bike from an official Ducati dealer. So who every gives you the overall best package.

My dealer handles many brands but is an official dealer of most of those brands (Ducati, BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, Victory, Triumph, Vespa) They do have different sections within the building that are exclusive to each brand, but a salesman usually can sell a couple different line. At my dealer the same guy that sells BMW also sells Ducati. The only complete exception is Honda which needs to be housed in a separate adjoining building.

It is really nice to be able to compare particularly if you have a knowledgeable salesperson.
