The owners manual says to use a minimum octane rating of 90(Ron+Mon)/2. When I looked this up this is the same as the US octane rating, not the Euro Ron rating. When I purchased my bike I was told that it needed 90 Ron, or the equivalent of 85.9 US. That seemed very low to me and after researching the way it is listed in the owners manual it is apparent that the manual is saying minimum is 90 US octane or 94.3 Euro.

What have other members been using and what if any difference in performance and or mileage have you noticed with using higher octane fuel?

I have access to up to 95 US octane near my home and if I want to travel I have non ethanol available about 15 miles away. Which always seems to make a big difference for me in mileage.
