Hello everyone-
Just picked up a 2015 Urban Enduro. I got one ride in before it got stupid cold (Chicago). I love it!! This Scrambler is my second Ducati I had an ST2 that I stripped down and did th cafe thing.
I've been riding since I was a kid. In the eighties!! Had dozens of bikes of all makes and sizes. Built every kind of bike. It always seems that I can never know enough though. I like these niche communities for the little bits of intel and tricks. As I go through mine I'll add what I can if its not redundant.
I'm trying to find a reliable local Öhlins dealer to get replacement springs for the cartridge kit. Previous owner was 60 pounds lighter than me.

Cheers!

Hi Yorkeight.

I just bought a 2016 urban enduro and love the bike. I read you want to get replacement springs for the cartridge kit, so Is there a way to tighten the suspension?
Thanks.

Hello fellow riders,

For almost a year me and my Scrambler 1100 have so much fun on a twisty alpine roads and passes. From my past bikes (choppers/cruisers mostly), this is so far the coolest bike I've ever had.

Cheers from Zürich,
Kru

Hello all from South West England, new member, just bought a brand new 2016 Icon with 26 miles on the clock, yes you read that right, will explain another day but it is all there, new and still to run in.
My girlfriend and I have 16 bikes between us, mostly old classics ( not boasting, trying to explain we love bikes and have many that suit us, situations and purposes etc ) but this one is really just for "shit and giggles" as is so much fun to ride at our mature age.
I hope to bring some knowledge and wisdom re bikes/ mods/ etc to the forum and hope to get wisdom of experience form those fellow owners on here.
Early thoughts once bike run in an have ascertained best riding position, standard questions from a newbie to all you experienced folk out there who have tried that, been there, done that, got T shirt etc, your learning would be appreciated.:
1.Change bars to FT or FTP
2.Maxton or similar rear shock
3.Spoke wheels off Classic ? ( yes I understand weight difference etc, but see above, this is for S&G not high performance, have other bikes for that.)
4. tail tidy solution
5.Termi exhaust ( not after [email protected] loud, piss off the neighbours just something that sounds more like a Duke ).

Is it true that all bikes have interchangeable parts or is this as much BS as '70's/ '80's Z1000s ?
I know FT bars are bigger than Icon etc, but are all wheels, exhausts, tailed, seats etc interchangeable?

Sorry for all the questions, fresh and new excited old biker with new toy,, blue skies to you all!

Hello! Just bought a used 2017 Scrambler Icon a couple months ago, and I am so happy to have a Ducati back in the garage. I had a 650 Cagiva Alazzurra for many years, I loved that bike but the sport bike position is not great for aging knees and back. Tried a 650 BMW for a while, but it just wasn't a good fit for me. Ditto with the next try, Honda 500X. Visited many bike shops and tried many bikes, felt most comfortable on the Scrambler. Very much looking forward to summer riding in the Pacific Northwest! Many backroads need exploring.

Hey Guys (and Gals of course)

New Boy here.... currently living in Chepstow, South Wales, originally from Bristol.

My first Ducati and first Scrambler is being delivered on Tuesday 8th June. I went for a 2019 1100 sport. It's standard at the moment but that won't last long !
I've been riding since '83 when I brought a 350 YPVS. I currently have a '99 R1 streetfighter and a '97 TL1000S also streetfighter style. One of which might need to be moved on to make room the Scrambler.

anyway, I look forward to learning about all things Scrambler from you lot. I'm sure I'll be asking some stoopid questions before long

Hi Folks, my name is Victor and Im from Northern Ireland, I got back into motorcycling last year after many years of absence from the hobby, I recently sold my Honda CBF1000 to purchase a 2017 800 Scramber Icon, really enjoying this bike, its light, nimble and so much fun.

Enjoy the hobby and stay safe :)(y)

Hi all, I Live In Norcal and I've had my 2015 Ducati Scrambler Icon for (wow has it been that long?!) years now and have fully enjoyed riding her. Always thought I had registered here as I would regularly browse this forum but when I actually tried to login, none of my emails worked so...Hi ALL!

Hi all. I am not new here, but I feel reborn because my Ducati Scrambler Italia Independent is back in action!
Over the covid debacle I hardly rode it - partly because Ducati Mornington ucked up the clutch, so it just wasn't fun to ride. I took it to a local service centre and although it cost me a bundle to have everything fixed, it totally feels like a new machine again!
