Hi, I ordered my 'Classic' from Reading Blade....(hoping this forum's going to link enthusiasts around the world to share thoughts, experiences and wisdom!)

They seem to be getting into there stride at blade reading. Have you used there service dept?

Hi Timmy, Simple answer is no - I visited all the dealers (4) within 90 minutes of my home and to be honest there don't seem much to choose between them. No doubt other Ducati fora have their own dealer favourites, but how evidence based they are is not clear. Blade Reading were pleasant to deal with (so one would hope as I've given them money but got nothing tangible in return…yet!), they offered a first service price reduction, and most significantly, a pick up and delivery service which saves trips to Reading and killing time there when it comes to servicing.
As they say the proof is in the pudding - so far so good - but accepting a deposit is not a very challenging activity - let's see how they do on keeping me informed, and in due course (hopefully not too long) the quality of their PDI and the delivery itself..

I bought my monster from snells alton. My hypermotard from on yer bike aylesbury. Snells excellent service but a long way to go. And they want a larger deposit than blade reading. But difficult between the two one i know the other i dont
