ok.... the tour is not bad, but:
- in july you will burn in **** everywhere on the tur and in mugello as well
- If you intend to visit Italy, forget the bike, there are millions things to see
- if you intend to ride in Italy, forget the cities of arts... go to the Alps where summer is magic
- after this, the cost is very high. we can fly rome or milan to san francisco under 600 usd roundtrip
- ducati riding experience shoul cost abt 1200 usd
- renting a bike is abt 100 usd per day, check at motonoleggiosereno.it owned by ducati dealer

I flew to Munich and rented an BMW F800 rode all over the Alps and my pace and my routes. It was great! Most tours have per-determined routes and time tables, so if you want to stay in Balzono for a couple days and ride the Dolomites your out of luck. I like to do my own thing.

That looks really fun! You can also call me if you want to ride the Alps of the United States (Rocky Mountains! lol) on a Ducati :) I have 2 Monsters and the Scrambler will be in the rental fleet as well when it gets here. I'm really looking forward to the Scrambler - I've already had people put down reservations on it for this summer!

@DenverDuc we (me and family) are planning road trip to Yellowstone and Denver area, as well as Pike's Peak and, I hope, Antilope Canyon. We will rent a Standard 4x4 Suv (my little girl 5 y.o. will be with us) I'll really appreciate if you could prepare a draft route or just some P.O.I. "to do".

thanks :)

You got it I'd love to help! You will love this part of the country - there is so much to see, it's all fairly close and it's very accessible. PM me with when you're coming out and I'll put together some info for you!

In June i will ride to Italy on my new Scrambler.:D
I do this since more then 20 years.
Tuscany,Umbria,good food,relaxed people.
In my opinion the most beautiful country in Europe.

It will be a 4000km ride,i have done this also with Duc 916,Duc SF,etc.
I dont need or like the so called "Adventure Bikes".
Cheers

I had the exact same thoughts, i would be too amused with italy to see a bike i can see in my homeland as long as i'm patient enough, which i am
