Depends what you're used to. I came from a 650 sv twin. So similar throttle response, but the sv is much smoother and the Ducati feels poor to me below 3.5k rpm. Perhaps it's poor fueling set-up or maybe it's single vs dual throttle bodies. Not sure.

Guess if you come from an inline 4 it will feel lumpy but instant power in comparison, and if you come from single it might feel smoother but a bit laggy.

I pulled a wheelie first time I opened it up on test ride. Took 5 mins to get used to and then the rest of the hour it was fine.

I had a very similar experience on my test ride.

I found that it took some adjustment for me, coming off a Japanese inline four, but I'm almost completely there now after a little over 500 miles.

The quick throttle can bite if you don't treat it with a bit of respect but once you get used to it it's fine. I've had the remap for the Termi race can and can't comment on the standard fuelling.
