In some ways yes, but in another way it is cool to see how bikes haven't changed much. We are all still interested in the Scrambler style bike, and the main points of design haven't changed much for this style of bike at all. If this was a brand new model today, I still think that people would buy it.

the the necessary components haven't changed but the components have changed drastically.

Look at the scrambler above, telescopic forks, border line hard tail, slab of foam seat and drum brakes.

Now we have inverted forks, single sided swing arms, ergonomic seats and 4 piston disc brakes all round

the new scrambler will infact have 2 wheels a gas tank and even a seat for your riding comfort

LOL I thinks thats about as far as the similarities are going to...

Unfortunately the current times don't allow for a new bike to stay true to a classic bike like that. But im sure there will be some hints of the past in it.

That is true.. Roads are filled with sport bikes nowadays. No love for the vintages.

you're lucky, only vintage model's i have seen where at bike shows and bike meets, nothing ever on the road.

Location matters too.
Depending where you live and what time of the year it is you may see more of them or none at all

yea always makes me laugh. Guy has gorgeous riding machine, parks outside coffee shop for everyone to see how good a rider he is AHAHAHAAAA

lifestyle bikers make me sick. They have all the nice stuff and not a clue how to use it

It's more like a fashion accessory to them, best way to put it
I've even seen guys with high powered ducati's like this, yet they baby it everywhere they go.
