dam was just about to say the same thing ;) amazing how far we've come..
In some ways yes, but in another way it is cool to see how bikes haven't changed much. We are all still interested in the Scrambler style bike, and the main points of design haven't changed much for this style of bike at all. If this was a brand new model today, I still think that people would buy it.

the the necessary components haven't changed but the components have changed drastically.

Look at the scrambler above, telescopic forks, border line hard tail, slab of foam seat and drum brakes.

Now we have inverted forks, single sided swing arms, ergonomic seats and 4 piston disc brakes all round;)
