Hey guys, im not a fan of the price and pocket system on the oem scrambler tank bag. Im thinking about getting a universal magnetic tank bag and wanted to see what are people running.

I found this bag and was wondering if anybody was running it on their bike? Its a ton cheaper than the oem scrambler bag:
Cortech Super 2.0 8-Liter Magnetic Tank Bag - RevZilla

Post some pics of your tank bags.

Not a fan of tank bags myself so have a Ducati handlebar bag which will hold the bits and pieces I need. Will be attached to the handlebar brace which I now have but no bike yet ...

I actually own a smaller version of this bag. I primarily use on my Victory Vegas-it works great. You can get a good view of it, if you look at my Victory videos on my youtube page.

I'm also in the same dilema, been thinking of a getting a bag for the scrambler. Not sure what the OEM Scrambler bag costs.

Its around $250 which is ridiculous, i also did not like how the main pocket is accessible. Could you do me a huge favor and check if your bag works with the scrambler?

Watch out with this bag, side flaps with magnets look like they would end up on the aluminum panels -> no joy. I read some experience like this on the other forum but cant find it
Crap i hope i can find something different than the oem bag. Hopefully someone can confirm that an aftermarket magnetic bag works.

Is it just me who thonks the oem tank bag look crap on the bike? No shape and just looks a mess
Agree. I am actually a fan of tank bags, but this one misses all the major benefits of a tank bag, except waterproofness: you need easy access to camera of phone and also it should stay in shape. I saw it in the flesh at the dealer, and it confirmed my impression.
I need to try on the bike (once I have it!) my Enduristan bag, I think it might be the perfect fit.

On the other hand I saw the waterproof saddle bags and I think I like them, despite the limited capacity. My only gripe is the color, as I am not sure about the green in the red Icon I have on order.

With regards to tank bags, I made an enquiry to the American company, Wolfman. Wolfman Luggage | Wolfman Motorcycle Luggage - Premium Motorcycle Bags Made in the USA. They have several suitable options. I don't remember which size took my fancy, but the flat tank of the Scrambler makes for a wide choice. Have a look at their site.
that would be my second option if the one I have (Enduristan) does not fit. I would be interested to know which one Wolfman will advice you. I love their products.

I just got a loaner Red Icon from Ducati Roma, until I get my bike delivered (they are making all the customers overseas happy and leaving us home without bikes :crying:)
So I will try the bag tonight or tomorrow and post a picture
