Switch Seats between ICON and FT versions

Hi Guys !

I'm from Montreal Canada , I will be the proud owner of a Full throttle when it arrive at the dealer around the 15-20 of may. I have a full list of mods in head but my first step is to black it out. I'll change the side pannels or simply remove the yellow stickers and put the black and white on each side. Remove the yellow sticker on the front fender and I want to switch the seat for a icon without the yellow patches.

I would like to know if someone with a Icon version would like to switch is seat with mine. I would prefer someone in canada or USA so the sipping would be faster ( 1 or 2 days fast shipping) and we wouldnt have to spend a week or 2 without a seat.

I may be interested in taking you up on that offer, but interested in seeing the difference in yellow colors in real life. I know they don't really match up, and if it is sore on the eyes I may not be too excited. I get my icon in May, so I'd have to touch base with you then...

Did you at least get a chance to sit on a full throttle and getting a good feel for it before putting through an order?

@Blackhawk ! Great we keep in touch. If anyone as any info about the difference of color between the icon bike and patches on the FT seats please share .

I did sit on the bike for at least half an hour in february at my hometown expo. Had the chance to talk a lot with the representative. Didnt have the chance to drive it / hear it but I did love the look and feel of it . I'm tall 6'2" and I felt a lot better on the full throttle then the icon... lower handlebar made me feel more confortable.

Lower handle + black + termigionni are the reasons why I picked the full throttle over other models

the FT yellow is more mustardy, the regular yellow is more primary.

Have you thought about other options for the seating? Like getting it wrapped instead?

@Timmy : If I cant find anyone that would like to switch my plan B would be to wrap it OR buy an aftermarket if there is anything available . The icon seat would be perfect ... I like the rear ducati white logo on it .

anyone finding the seats hard on the icon? not as a concern...just as a "oh, they appear so soft in the pics and are not" moment.

Seat Concepts has said they'll be providing a kit. I've used their stuff on a couple of bikes and have been well pleased.

In all the images/videos of the FT, I'm seeing that the yellow on the seat is a lighter, less-mustardy yellow than the decals. Can anybody confirm this? A photo of a production FT next to an Icon taken with a decent camera would be a dream come true...
