Hi there

Will I have to prep them before painting or will I just be able to paint over the bare metal? I'm interested in making it a little project and painting them myself but I don't really want to do much prep work.. sanding etc.

I suppose it'd depend on the paint and what end result you are going for. These are bare aluminum I believe, so maybe look into what is involved in painting that. Something like plastidip you could spray right on. That was my plan before I impatiently purchased the black panels for way too much. Lol. I kind of wanted to keep them in case I change my mind on colors in the future but need to fund some more modifications!
