Picked my yellow Icon up today but the dealer hadn't recieved the owners manuals yet so could someone please tell me how to select and change the menu items on the dash? I worked out how to scroll through them but thats about it. Also is it possible to make the dash default to trip meter when you turn the bike on rather than back to Total mileage every time?

To get into the menu. Hold the "down" button on the left hand side for 3-5 seconds. and then use "down" / "up" to go through them. You can select with the indicator cancellation button.

I hope that is what you meant.

Play with the upper /lower keys and the grey turn-reset key on the left handle.
The lower (or upper? Try, I forgot) key long press will enter into menus.
The grey turn indicator reset key is the "Enter" key when changing/entering values
The lower key during ride toggles between total mileage, trip1, trip2, temperature, reserve odo when lit

Default can't be changed afaik

Hope this helped, enjoy your bike!

dukes, you're right, the Euro Ducati website will have them online but not there yet unfortunately. I'm not too worried, most of the stuff is pretty basic or I've picked up info here and the dealer will no doubt get them soon and mail mine off to me.

The Ducati website should also have spare parts catalog online too which would be interesting.

Postet this in reply to Doc59 on the other thread, but here it may help more:

Quick n dirty manual summary:
Break-in: don´t pass 6000 rpm <1000 km, 7000 RPM < 2500 km.
Fuel >=95 RON, <=10% ethanol.
Oil change 1000 km, after every 12k.
Tire press 2.5/2.5 bar single, 2.5/2.9 bar double.
Menu keys left handle: down toggles total/trip/temp/reserve when lit. Grey turn indicator cancel is the enter key. The lower key long press will enter into menus. The upper key long press will reset trip distance.

My experience: Fuel low light @ 200 km. Remainder should be good for 50-60km more.

My advice: Warm her up gently, respect break-in speeds, friction heat /welding of piston cylinder surfaces is to be tamed, no matter what crap they write on the web

Safe riding!
