So, on scramblerducati.com, they show an illustration with the Urban Enduro and the high exhaust fitted, also with the skid plate remaining installed as well. However, ducatiglasgow.co.uk (found through another member's post), lists all the accessories and it states that the skid plate is not compatible with the high exhaust. Some real life pictures of the scrambler with the high exhaust that i've found don't show the skid plate, but the illustration below does. See pics. Would like to know which is the truth, because I am interested in the high exhaust but also would like the skid plate, even though that skid plate doesn;t offer much protection...could be better.

I was hoping for some useful information. Hopefully this forum won't be hijacked by the haters and trolls of the social media circuit.

Hopefully I'm not jumping the gun too quick, and your post just got lost in translation, as I see you are from Italy. :)
Yeah, he mentioned in another post that he loves that exhaust and the red Icon, and mentioned it was expensive, so I'm pretty sure it's a translation thing and he's referring to having to buy them. :)

The picture you show looks like a Photoshop pre-production mock up.
The header of the real pipe on the bike in this picture doesn't look to be as tightly tucked in to the RH engine case as that in the mock up. So maybe it would foul the bash plate.

Yea, if the dealers with the parts are saying it's not compatible, then they probably have all the updated technical info.

Hopefully a better skid plate can be produced anyway.

I think he's trying to say that it is another difficult to choice to decide between the exhaust or the bash plate. Looking at the high mount exhaust in real pictures, it doesn't appear it would interface with the bash/skid plate which is too bad. I do wonder how effective it will be as a skid plate however as it appears to be more aesthetic than functional.

Yes correct.... The off road (even if light) set up need both high exaust an skid plate. Furthermore if we can't fit them together, we have to decide wich one to buy.... Hoping some after market brand will provides another skid plate, as well as a guard for the oil cooling panel that is very exposed on left side

that's what i was thinking when considering how functional it could be, might not be worth it to do

I recommend letting the market catch up to the bike. I went through this on my Harley XR1200, the last year they made them, there were all sorts of great additions created throughout Europe. The factory just wrote the bike off or offered less than optimal accessories. Racing also added some great custom options through joint ventures such as Vance and Hines. For instance, I haven't tried it but it appears the bar end caps that say made in Italy could make excellent caps for the holes in the frames that Ducati wants $250 for and strip easily, probably made in some crappy factory some where on the cheap. Their custom bar end caps are not compatible with many aftermarket mirrors as well. They are weighty enough either to be functional as a vibration reducer, not that that is needed but still another very expensive cheap bauble.
