It's supposed to take only seconds, so pop off the Scrambler logo with a flat head screwdriver wrapped in tape and then pull the main panel off.

If you have a panel with no logo, just pop it off. Great for replacing it in a 'snap'--and super convenient for thieves who want your new cf one. ;)

That's gunna be a serious PIA for people who use the bike to commute and can't keep an eye on it while it's parked. Even the stock ones are probably candidates for theft. May require some clever anti-theft engineering. Good to know.

The logos are glued to the panels and there is one screw underneath.
I know because i removed and wrapped the panels matte black. The logos were destroyed during the removal even though we heated the sticky parts. It can probably be removed safely but thats definitely not easy. So I wouldn't worry about theft:D
Ducati offers different panel options but makes removing the logos a pain in the ass. I think they want to sell you a new pair of logos for 60 dollars along with the panels. I am planning to make a different personal logo sticker instead of buying new logos. Maybe I'll just make the original logos sticker version for a few dollars instead of paying that much for the plastic ones.

I think this issue will be common enough to have people go through the same process you're thinking of, to add a custom logo in place of the old and damaged one.

So the logos are glued on - what is the point of that if they are trying to encourage you to have interchangeable (personalised) panels? You would have thought it would be an easier process .. although I suppose that would make it easier for theft
