hey all. service mgr at Ducati said I should wait til after first service to put termi exhaust on. anyone heard of that before and possibly why? need some solid advice.

Never heard that, but I can see this being a good idea. Also may save you a few buck since they can do the re-map as part of your first service instead of a stand alone charge.
true! I was trying to skirt around the wife with it arriving making the termi sound as opposed to later changing the sound. sneaky sneaky >:D

Different dealers seem to have different opinions, European dealers seem happy to install on initial delivery


I vote fit it straight away,


Oz dealers don't charge to install upmap at first service,

I installed it myself and then had the dealer do the remap for around 65.00 @ 300 miles. The whole dealership was excited about it and giddy about the test drive after the remap. My bike was the first to have the pipe and remap at the dealership. They said now they could share the sound and performance with all the questions they were getting. Very pricy but now sounds like it should.
