Hi there, was in a Sydney Ducati store having a look at a Scrambler yesterday. The rep said they were about to get a shipment of 125 and about 80 were pre-ordered already. I'm calling it a load of BS.

Anyway, I loved the way it looks. To sit on felt very low for me. Didn't ride it though. Looking forward to see the Scrambler on the road and the mods that people eventually do.

I Hope it's true but this same story (with up to 300 bikes coming) has been used by our Australian dealers since early
March! My bike was only the 4th scrambler delivered here in Brisbane, exactly 2 weeks ago. I have just checked my dealers facebook where they post pics of all deliveries and this week another 2 were delivered. Unfortunately Ducati is letting everyone down with poor info and scarce supply.

Glad you liked it though - gonna go for it?

I will get it (at the moment! ) but not until next year when i finish some studies. Bit of a present to myself.

I'm 186cm. I think that's about 6'1". My last ride was a R3 Roadster, so anything will feel small after that!

Was **** bent on a Thruxton or a Bonny but the extra performance, lighter weight, and the ability to seriously customise makes the Scrambler a winner.

If I bought tomorrow I'd probably get the cheapest model (Icon?), get it mapped, custom exhaust, custom seat, clip ons.

But with rumours of an 1100 in the works, waiting a bit may work out for me.
