Help me out guys and gals,

I thought I would go into the setting menu and set the correct time on the clock (it runs early). According to the manual I should press button 3 for 2 seconds with engine on and speed under 20 km/hour. As I see it button 3 is the 'flash to pass' switch. I have tried pushing it down, pushing it inward but nothing happens. Am I pushing the wrong button?

Just passed the 1000 km mark with no problems so will get it serviced in two days and then ... no more holding back :D

button 3 is not the flash button. Button 3 is right above the turn signal switch that is a little inconspicuous. (its exactly like the button below the turn signal switch.
;)

I hope this helps otherwise I'll try to find a picture of the control panel.

The other sliding button, thingy above the indicator? I thought that was button 2, but I also thought I gave that a try as well. Will have another look!

Thanks!

Looking at the picture in the manual, button 3 does appear to be the flash button. In the picture in the paragraph on the settings menu, button 2 is shown, but the text says push button 3

I think I have pushed on all buttons for 2 second but haven't managed to get into the settings menu yet. I will have them take a look when I have the bike serviced.

So just to clarify, which number in the picture above do you press to access the setting menu?

Settings Menu

Hi Guys, to answer the issues with entering the Settings Menu - i just have been struggling with changing the clock and checking the battery. To get into the Settings Menu I did as described in one of the posts - press button 2 for 3 seconds (maybe a bit longer). Then use button 1 and 4 to select and navigate.

Yep you have to press that button for at least three or four seconds. It feels like an eternity!
The HIGH BEAM flasher lever has no function whatsoever in the settings menu, also you do not have to have the engine running to set stuff in the menu. Just turn the ignition key and wait for the speedo to finish its start routine.

You also need to recite this before and after setting the clock etc.

THE DUCATI PRAYER

Our father, who art in Bologna
Taglioni be thy name
Thy victory come, thy race be won
On the streets as it is in Imola
Give us this day, our daily ride
And forgive us our summonses
As we forgive those who ride Hondas against us
Lead us not into transgressions
But deliver us from speed traps
For fine is the handling, the power and the glory, forever and ever

Amen
