Screen options

Hi There,

Been riding the scrambler for a few days now, and it's brilliant.
However, 60-70 mph+ for extended period of time is obviously not too comfortable with a lot of wind pressing at you. So was wondering if there are any screens available; Ducati's own ones and any 3rd parties, then please let me know where to find it.

From Ducati, there is just this one: DUCATI SCRAMBLER SPORT HEADLIGHT FAIRING

I had originally ordered the faring based on the the picture I saw of it that showed it was clear.

I was disappointed when I see that now it's yellow instead, and it really looks like the Full Throttle yellow as well, which isn't the same yellow as the Icon I have on order. I don't actually want a yellow one. I wonder if they sell them both ways? Either way, other options will come along, but I haven't seen anything else yet.

İ can buy that from you , if you want to get rid of it :)
This one. I like this because it at least has colour to it.

Well as I have a red icon, a clear screen or similar would be better in terms of looks I think.. :)
Those screens don't even seem like they would be that functional though. Is that really going to block much wind when you are riding on the highway?

Your right they wont. Maybe stop minimal buffeting around the clocks but purely cosmetic Number boardish imho.
Those screens seem really small. I don't see how that's really gonna block much wind at speed of 70+ mph.. Cheers!
How high of a screen would be too high for you? I know some guys hate screens that go too high, meanwhile some don't care as much and prioritize function quite high
I would like to see a screen that just goes above the speedo as that will be high enough to stop my satnav mounted on the handlebar bolt from getting hits by flies :)
Full lower fairing here and top box for sat nav

I already cancelled it off my order. :(
I can't see that screen doing anything regarding wind buffeting! I would think it would have to be a sizeable screen to have any effect, which probably wouldn't look too good. All of my bikes have had fly screens and they have been a lot bigger than that, even then they have not stopped the wind blast .. it's more directed onto your head lol
I would consider a larger screen for the times one decides to travel a bit more than say 30-40 miles at a time. Mainly because it's painful to travel 65-70mph+ for long (especially if it happens to be a windy day as well)

e.g. here is the triumph with a touring screen:

fugly
So I've got an Icon on order, should arrive any week, and I'm going with a Red/Black theme!

I wonder if they'll release the below in different colours?! e.g. Black with white border?

I'm sure after a few months every man and his dog will be making aftermarket bit for these bikes

There are a lot of universal clamp-on options, if you do not want to wait for the aftermarket to catch up with this new model...use it until you find something better.

Also...for those that have the yellow Ducati flyscreen...can you take pictures of how it is mounbted to the bike?
