Seeing as there ahas been very little posted on this subject I thought I would start a Thread.
Officially at the present time there is very little choice of Tankrucksack´s available, the Ducati model is not everyones taste/design and is rather expensive.
SW-Motech has at least 3 listed which will fit, there is also an 11ltr from Bagster which I tried. Most are using straps and Baseplate, several small magnet tankrucksack will also fit but thats basically it on the market.

I really need a decent size tankrucksack for trips of at least 14-20 ltr size, I am pretty sure others also need this so has anyone found anything that fits the bill?

I'm pretty short, would I be able to see over that thing?
Even at 4' 6" you wouldn't even notice it. It may look large, but when you're sat on the bike a full size tank bag like this would sit around the same height as your lowest rib, and there's no way you look that low in normal riding. Seriously, you simply don't see it unless you look down at it, it's not even close to obscuring the speedo.

Hey, thats me. Forget the 30l belly though:eek:
Hey Juergen, how was your experience with the Mugello guys? They seem to be doing very interesting stuff with Scramblers. A bit far from here (Phuket) but I might make a trip to them if they can make me a custom seat + suspension + Akra exhaust (when available).
It's super hard to find guys who know what they are doing in Thailand.

Hi Eisfeld, just ordered a new seat with them last week. Ask for some special. Said they can do. let's see. Droped of my seat and got a loaner. :D Will pick it up in one or two weeks. Usually it takes them 7 days. But I am travelling again. Fitting the slides and pan looked good as they did it.
In general I got a good feeling with them.
But a long way from Phuket.
