I know, I know the Scrambler's not even out yet, how is this madman talking about rivals already?

Well talk of the town is that Honda is looking to develop a retro scrambler as well. They just re-trademarked the Elsinore name that graced their original scrambler of Steve Mcqueen fame...

Is this the next trend about to take over?

Well I'm sure that this Honda would be considerably less expensive than the Ducati Scrambler.

It will be interesting to see which engine they put in the Honda Scrambler. It could be based on the 2-stroke CR motocross machinery or the 4-stroke CRF.

C'mon lets use our heads a bit here, Honda is not going to sell. sorry scrath that, NOT ALLOWED TO SELL a 2 stroke in a roadbike only. And considering Honda is leading the charge to get 2 strokes eliminated from closed course competition I SERIOUSLY doubt they will take the road titled hypocrisy... ;)

It's a shame but Honda will never make a retro 2 stroke scrambler like the Elsinore. Instead they will overbuild a vee twin and it will be another fat whale competing only with the likes of the F800GS
