Registered on Ducati website at weekend and sent them a message with regards to online user manual. I just got a call from Ducati, Italy to let me know it will be up in a few weeks. Thought it odd to be called and not emailed but am impressed none the less!

A friend just purchased a KTM 690 Duke. He wrote me

"I do have to compliment KTM on the thoroughness of the 176 page owner's manual that comes with the bike. It is more comprehensive by far, than most. It seems that they have considered that owners may do some of the maintenance of their machines." In fairness, that bike has been out several years, but I hope that there will be a decent manual developed for the Scrambler.
I don't care if online, I will just print it out.

For you folks that have already received your bikes... What are you being given as a manual as you take your bike?

A Ducati Scrambler owners manual, a Ducati service book and a Ducati Card Assistance Program book, all in a very nice official brown leather file.

My manual was packed in a beautiful clear bag with a sliding zippable closure system. It has the Brand Name of Zip Lock, I believe it is a swanky name brand much like Prada and Coach.
Would have been better if it was all duc branded and in line with the styling of their apparel line as that can be easily worked into a cover.
