Yep they work with key in. Very handy if doing some long filtering possibly but hopefully avoiding crappy motorways from now.
Monster 1100s front wheel sliders fit saving me £30 and the same for the frame sliders too saving me £75. Don't think a rear set will save any part of the bike tbh. Just want a set of R&G chain adjuster ones.

Just wondering if my Monster may have had them as never read the manual as close as I just did. I always wondered why I couldn't see dash well sometimes and probably could have lightened it up like the scrambler.

I have a feeling that it is illegal to turn off the headlight and just use the LED. Seems like it would go against safety regulations. And I also think that it does seem unsafe as compared to having the headlamp on.

Instead, you could try to replace the headlamp with a full LED setup.

it's not illegal, because bmw equipped with automatic lighting system (it switch drl / headlam automatically accordingly darkness) by default runs with drl only during daylight. I think ktm does the same and new R1 as well
