Flat Tracking typically gets little play time on mainstream television, but with guys all three FIM MotoGP (2 and 3) champions come from flat tracking background might we see popularity spike? Regardless thats not the point, the point was Ducati has already made explicit connections between the Scrambler and Flat Track racing with the Full Throttle, I just cant help but wonder if Ducati is interested in getting themselves involved in some form of Flat TRack racing in an official capacity?

Or even in a non official capacity, would privateer teams see the Scramby as a viable racer?

I think the possibility is their, not sure how good this is when compared to other bikes for this purpose but it would be great to see a duc join.

I'm not sure if thats something Ducati is particularily interested in. However with Audi backing them now perhaps there is more financial leeway for racing projects? Probably a long shot matey...

I'm sure people will race the Scrambler whether it is official or just casual. And when they do I hope they tape it so that I can watch it later on youtube.

That is quite possible, something i can see happening. I believe this was the case when they acquired Lamborghini, giving them the financial backing they needed to get to where they are right now.
