The Scrambler will definitely do it. It will be quite cozy with pillion. I'd try a few test trips of a day or two length before heading out for a long trip.

We've done a few days 250-300kms...1100 special..just riding in the hills

we've done 500km days on our way from Adelaide to Cairns..Harley lowrider, leaner bar, sheepy seat. Well sorted bike.

I've ridden my Wideglide back Adelaide from Melbourne non stop coupla years ago...pretty long day (I'm 62 now)...

While i see the scrambler as a short tour (weekends away) for a solo rider (and bearing in mind most of my time on it includes my partner Karin) I'd still use the Harley for a trip like 5000km.

Your results may vary, ie: you are probably younger, fitter and keener than me.
