I'm one of the many still waiting for my scrambler to arrive. But I'm curious about the road spray. I've seen people lightly touch on the subject but is it really bad? My deposit is on a ft and living in the Pacific north west it has a tendency to rain. So is it bad enough that I should be looking for a rear fender?

I rode today on wet roads after a rain. My back was pretty wet and dirty. I have the stock Icon fender on. I wonder how the long classic would do.

Much better...

I have an Icon about 2.5 hours north of you and while there has been almost Zero rain this year, when I have ridden in the rain, I do get spray on my back and legs pretty good. But, if you wear rain gear, whatever right?

Considering I too live in Oregon, I may switch out to a Classic fender from the stock UE setup. I think it would match the front and the lines of the bike better.

Rooster, are you getting your bike from Moto Corsa? Which model?

Yea I put a deposit down on a Full Throttle up at Moto Corsa. They said it would be end of July or early August before it arrives. I was debating about switching my deposit down to Urban Enduro. How do you like yours?

Keep your money on the Full Throttle. Lower bars and better exhaust for the same money as the Urban Enduro costs.

I have an Icon and when the road is dirty and wet, it really gets messy very quickly. Like others mentioned even from the front.
I'm actually dumbfunded how bad the finders and mudguard are. Riding with no fender/guard would probably not even make it any worse...

By now I believe they just did those parts according to looks and did zero real world testing as to theri effectiveness.

We have raining season now here in Thailand, it rains pretty much every day for months.
Extremely impractical bike under those conditions.

In the front I get dirty and wet on my legs. Someone already mentioned the front wheel throws the water straight into the air which then gets redirected onto the light and probably also on the sides as I can only see it in the light beam but somehow it gotta go around the forks and tank onto my legs.

What really annoys me is that I feel this probably could have easily been avoided by making the guard and fenders in proper sizes/position.

I had money on an Urban with Moto Corsa but then the Eugene dealer got one in unspoken for and I was 10th on the list at PDX and not due to get one until maybe August so.......
I love it! Finally got it onto some nice twisty mtn roads this past Friday. Have about 450 miles on it in 3 weeks or so. I live on a mile of steep gravel road and it handles great. I like the guards and the handlebar ht personally. Need to put rock guards on oil cooler and rectifier asap though. Then a Termi exhaust and a few other farkles

Yea I got a call from Eugene saying they had a UE coming in soon that was up for grabs. I was going to get a hold of Moto Corsa just to see if they have a better idea when the FT is coming in. If late July/early august turns early september/october I might go down to Eugene for the UE.
