With waiting lists in the UK now, I believe, stretching until September. This surely bodes well for the residual value of the bike. If Ducati UK can sell all the Scramblers they can get two or three times over, how soon before the price goes up?

Haven't really been thinking about selling yet. Seems like the bike has good looks that will retain value though. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Seriously though, you are not allowed to sell it. You are only allowed to add more bikes to the collection. That's the rule.

Not a correct assumption..
The same happened last year with BMW NINE-T ... and everyone just waited... all in all it's all about if your paying it up front or having some financing ... where financing its quite better if you go for the new one...

Plus if you need something to build your credit rating even more or just to throw in some more positive activity, financing is always a good way to go although you may have all the money up front.
