Rear rack

despite rear rack is actually a ghost..... and the only official link to it is on the rear bag description on the Scrambler Accessory page..... just one hour ago, I received copy of my bike paper from the dealer and under "bike length" entry, there are 3 value:

- the first one refers to bike fitted with low plate holder
- the second refers to bike fitted with high plate holder (classic with aluminium mudguard
- the third refers to bike fitted with "rear rack" (portaoggetti posteriore

value are:

- 2100 mm
- 2140 mm
- 2180 mm

it means that rear rack exists and its lenght is from saddle end to 8 cms over "icon" end.

I contacted Ducati to clarify the existence (or not) of a rear rack. They said no rack (yet). It looks like they planned to have a rack and perhaps had a prototype, but it is not in the accessory list now. Shame

Hi,
I have hust ordered the legend side bags. I also want a rear rack. Having check with DM, I learnd that DM rear rack doesnt fit with the side bags because they use the same attachment points. Is there any other brand for scrambler which can be fitted with the sw motech side panniers/bags??? Please anyone help ??

I'm not sure this helps but I have H&B rear rack and the Ducati side rack and bags ( I put a different bag on the frame) along with a high pipe. You have to use longer bolts... here is a thread : http://www.ducatiscramblerforum.com...s/14609-h-b-alurack-top-case-installed-3.html
