Cool. I wish the seller would have posted pictures of the rack installed onto a Scrambler. So we can get a clear picture of the finished product installation. I would prefer powder coated black, but i am excited nevertheless that aftermarket accessories are cropping up!

Odd shape ...
I didn't think so looking at it. It lifts at the front to level with the line of the seat so as not to obstruct the rear light, and the load area appear to follow the lines of the seat taper at the rear. It would be nice to see one fitted, but my guess is that it looks ok, and I can see one appearing on my wife's bike in the near future as it'll definite give a bit more luggage room.

Agree, it make sense, and it is probably the only way to add a rack.

Here the link to the manufacturer website:
Accessori Archivi - DM Telai

They are from Bologna, and they have been producing frames for ages, so they should have some experience, at least with Ducati.

They also have just the passenger handle, and a lowered handlebar.

My only concern is that i suspect the rack is not compatible with the side rack brackets, from what i can see. Hope I am wrong

It looks like the rack can also serve as a passenger handle as well. I agree that a photo of one installed on the bike would be a great assist. May have to order one since I am in farkle mode having just ordered my Pazzo shorty levers. Thanks for the info.

rack looks cool to have (more) luggages capacity, however I think the load area is too small.... and thinking to fit the rack only for mid/long range trips, an extension for rack should be welcome; touratech does something for GS, for istances

It does but the GS has a split seat and the extention replaces the passenger seat. I'm guessing they could produce a single seat and a rack extention.

Yep would be good to see one fitted. Wonder who will make the first move and get one.

Uhm no Jerry, they do both, the one replacing the passenger sit and the other that simple increase lenght and beam of the standard rack, furthermore it has hooking points for luggage slings

y'day I fitted my UE side bags.... as far as I can understand.... looking at the frames on their spot, it looks will be no clearance to fit the rack on the same bolts... in particular the ones "forward", because they are almost touch the rear fender right now.

Wonder no more! I ordered one in black and am waiting for shipping confirmation to me from Italy. Odd process to order as I had to use one of DM Telia's "collaborators" (vendors?). They only took paypal and there was a 17 EU markup over the price posted at the Mfg website. But what the heck - ordered it and I will post up pics once it arrives. Supposed to ship out on 5/29 and be a 3-4 day delivery via DHL. Keep everyone posted.

Hello all,
Thanks for finding the rear rack! I'm looking for that more than 1 month! No luck!
But still wonder as all of us wanted to see how it fits on the bike? Also, if we already install the side bags like this, so how this rear rack install, seems like they are using the same bolts on 2 sides?

if you have fitted the side frames by yourself, you experienced the lack of clearance between the "front side" bolts and the rear mudguard.... I'm almost sure the rack use same spots, it means that 99% it will not fit at same time with side frames
