I have yellow icon...

When I switch on the ignition and the bike makes a system check, on the display is written "RACE" for just 1 second..

I can guess when this means. But is there a way to change some kind of engine settings?

Do you mean it shows race when it does the system check, or it shows race once the system check is completed?

The former, might just be an options that the display can show, and has nothing to do with the bike. Same as display will go up to 300 which the bike itself (in mph or kmh) will never do. So not sure it's something applicable to the bike.

However, if it shows it after the check has been completed, then I'm baffled.

PS: Also the instrument panel can't change any engine specific settings (unless there is some secret service settings etc.... but I doubt this)

Do you have the termi slip on? If yes it comes with an upmap usb key which your dealer activated on your bike. That's why it shows the race during start-up. At least that's how it worked on the multistrada.

Maybe take a little video to show when it comes on? Unless its a software malfunction maybe its worth looking into. I'm thinking it could also just be a Ducati start-up slogan.

No, this is the normal behavior when you have a racing (not-road legal) exhaust upmap loaded in the ECU, which is what the dealer does when they fit the Termi racing exhaust to your Ducati.

Yes it shows technians what ecu is programmed to . Had the RACE scroll when my M1100s had its termi ecu fitted.
