I've just fitted a pair of R&G Eazigrip boot guards as I usually wear through the paint around my footrests
Not a bad product really but expensive at £18 for two small stick on rubberised bits! I'll try to add some pics

Clear satin helicopter tape is cheaper and alomst invisible when applied. It is what I use on areas that my boot contacts

Yep like everything else

Just do a search for matte helicopter tape

Yep, eBay or motorsports stores. Stick with a 3M branded tape rather than a really cheapy one.

I've been reading the reviews on Amazon, this helicopter tape looks like the ticket, sure enough. Never heard of it, thanks for the enlightenment.
