A Ducati Press Meeting has been scheduled for next Thursday September 12th in Bologna, Italy. Ducati's CEO Claudio Domenicali will give a preview of the bikes in Ducati's 2014 line-up.

Will we get a peek at the new Scrambler??? It's hard to say, but we only have to wait till next week to find out.

Wicked! The press event i just one week away from today. There's a good chance we can get a peek at the new scrambler, but also very possible we wont as we haven't seen any spy shots of it.
I hope they give us a preview of the Scrambler. I am just itching to get some info on what this bike is going to look like and when it will be coming out. I am really interested to see what they do with the exhaust. Many renderings have it with high mounted pipes, and those we be so cool.
At this stage the press release would be helpful for those who are looking in to getting it. all the renderings popping up are throwing people off.

Yea, some official recognition or preview of the Scrambler would give all of us something to hinge our expectations on. What exactly is it that we are getting excited about. Give us a little something to keep us interested.

what for, look how excited we all are from sniffing rumors. This is the best bit of marketing I have seen in some time. If you say nothing people expect the worst, imaginations run uncontrollably and desire takes over.

The Scrambler forum is operating on pure lust alone, no agency can create that type of buzz no matter how much money they throw at it.

Even if Ducati doesnt give us official confirmation of the Scrambler i'll be looking to see whats going on with the monster. If the monster looses its 696cc engine in favour of some larger engines approaching or crossing the 1000cc mark its pretty much confirmation that Ducati is going to produce the Scrambler eventually.

Right now the Monster is the only low end bike at Ducati, if they move the monster out of that range they wont have a single offering below $10k, and the below $10k price point is exploding right now, it would be foolish to abandon that segment...

3 more days! very likely the new monster will be part of it. or well.. the updated monster.
at least if we don't see the new scrambler at this event, we'll see new products that will give us an idea of what to expect the scrambler to be like in some ways.

plus we could be seeing teasers and small bits of info release by then
Ok, so its the 12th anyone heard anything out of Ducati today? Considering the press event was supposed to go down in Bologna thats 7hrs ahead of us, which means its 8:57 pm there right now....

The only thing I've heard from Ducati today was not Scrambler related, just a massive picture dump of the new 899 panigale, which is here if anyone is interested
Nope nada haven't heard anything about the scrambler yet...

any one else?

aside from the articles posted here that speculate what the scrambler will be like, there's nothing else.
Hmm... that is strange. Not even a notice of postponement from Ducati. I was looking forward to this. It would be nice to have something more tangible to get excited about.
at least some sources report that the scrambler is well under way
some companies just stuck at keeping people up to speed with their latest products

september 16th and still nothing?
yea it's disappointing, i wonder whats up with the lack of information, yet they were apparently well into development at one point
seems like Ducati is trying to expand on cheaper bikes, but clearly still up their in price. Can't wait to see and hear the new 899 in person :D

it's not too far off from the 1199 price. it is a very nice looking bike. Now to convince myself I need one..

I would love to see this same color scheme on a scrambler, it would look amazing IMO, i can see it come together now in my head. now I just need to see it in real life!
