I'm very happy to have found this forum. I bought an Icon Red two weeks ago. The problem is, I will only be able pick it up on Friday because I'm working in a different city. It's sitting there - at the dealer. My wife sends me pictures of it to torture me. Can you imagine the pain having to wait for it?

Welcome Phil, where abouts in Thailand? If you're near Chiang Mai, that place is motorcycle heaven. I took my F650 to SE Asia back in 2007 and spent 7 months riding around, based in Thailand. Definitely have to come back for a holiday soon.

50 km later. I had to take ot the temple to be blessed. So far, I can not stop smiling. More later. The wheels are round and they need to roll....

Thank you for the continuing review, Phil. I predict aftermarket seats will be coming along shortly. In the meantime, I've read good things about the Airhawk and Freedom Air cushions, as you mentioned. And on the cheap, you might consider a square of fake sheepskin bought from the local drugstore; some elastic straps to secure it to the seat and away you go. Helped me put many miles on a plank of a seat back in the day.
