I have this Condor aluminum wheel chock. It's universal, so in some ways less useful than a paddock stand. But also, I can use it for any motorcycle. I love having it because I can chock either the front or rear wheel and jack up the opposite end to service the bike.
It's very heavy duty and built to hold goldwings and harleys securely, so it'll hold a 400 pound bike no problem.

Thanks chaps for both options however I am tempted by the bike tower option.

Ok sounds good though having downloaded instructions it looks like a frame bolt gets swapped out. I will have Evotech crash bungs so am interested to see exactly what needs doing to bike if anything to allow the stand to operate. Looks quality bit of kit so looking forward on your thoughtsThe plate is attached to the stand not the bike. Will post pictures soon
