Okay I need to admit I have no idea about Ducati so anyone care to speak up and get me up to speed? Along with my first time going to dirt on my Scambler and suggestions are always welcome.
Well the Scrambler is a lot different from other Ducatis right now. Much more casual then the rest of their bikes in styling. What kind of info are you really looking for though? The Scrambler should be able to take to dirt well. That is the point of it. I'm sure some mods or suspension tinkering could make it even better suited for dirt.
That's why I'm buying it for the dirt roads in Arkansas and some light off road. I have rode lot's of different cruisers and currently riding a Indian Chieftain but 20 years plus experience on paved roads. I still ride my old 65 Triumph hard tail with a springer front end
Ducati's are like Italian women. Tons of character, downright gorgeous, whimsical with a hair trigger temper that can go from nothing to everything in a matter of 2.5 seconds...
It can be maddening relationship, but in the best possible way
