Well i think the problem with that is in order for Ducati to keep the Scramblers price down they need to borrow heavily from their existing bikes and i think thats where the dirt bike look comes from. You can tell both those renders are heavily based on the Hypermotard...the top rendering looks alright, there was a better one on this forum somewhere.
my problem with the top most rendering is that it looks way too modern and starts to take on more of a dirt bike look. It needs to look a bit more like the original in some ways.
I though it would still hold a vintage look to it but wow it's really different than I though.
keep in mind it's just a rendering so don't worry too muchI though it would still hold a vintage look to it but wow it's really different than I though.
almost looks like a dirt bike.I though it would still hold a vintage look to it but wow it's really different than I though.
Yeah thats true I am getting mixed feelings about it now hopefully it will be different when the press event goes on.keep in mind it's just a rendering so don't worry too much
hopefully we'll see something come next week at Ducati's press event in Italy
Those renderings are also like 2 years old, its just some old Italian guy who loves dreaming about bikes. Im pretty sure that rendering is based off the Hyper Motard. The New Scrambler is expected to steal alot from the Hyper Motards parts bin I just hope Ducati doesnt make it god awful blatant..Yeah thats true I am getting mixed feelings about it now hopefully it will be different when the press event goes on.
