G'day Fatrob Welcome.
Sure your legs will not be an issue with the scrambler as I believe the Harley has a wider saddle than the scrambler. There is also a lower saddle option.

G'day Fatrob Welcome.Hi all,
FatRob here. I am based in Brisbane, Australia. Hoping to get the Full Throttle but, obviously, haven't seen tin the flesh as yet. Other option is a Monster 821 or 1200.
I do have a short leg problem though, and I'm a bit concerned that that may be an issue.
Currently ride a Harley FatRob.
Look forward to chatting and learning.
Cheers,
FatRob.
My leg length, or lack of it, excludes a lot of bikes. I'd really like to buy an 'adventure' style bike but can't find any that I can reach comfortably on.Welcome to the forum! Has your leg been a problem with other bikes that you have had before? Hopefully everything will be fine for you.
Cheers!
The new Monsters go down to 745mm with the extra low seat but because the seat is wide it doesn't really help as much as you'd imagine as it splays your legs out. My wife has a 26 inch inseam and the Scrambler was perfect as it's very narrow. My leg length, or lack of it, excludes a lot of bikes. In the past I did have a Ducati S4 (916 Monster) and had to have that lowered by an inch or so - and even then I was on the limit of comfort. Had I stopped anywhere where there had been an adverse camber on the road then I would have been over.
So I am hoping that the Scrambler, with the lower seat, will be the answer and fill a space in the garage.
That's good to know. My inseam is 29 inch so I should be fine. The new Monsters go down to 745mm with the extra low seat but because the seat is wide it doesn't really help as much as you'd imagine as it splays your legs out. I have a 29" inside leg but can manage my 1200 Multi without difficulty, although I do have to be careful. I found the height a bit daunting initially but quickly got used to it. I have a low seat option but, like said above, it effectively makes the seat wider so not much gain. The 31" seat height of the Scrambler will be a joy. That's good to know. That's interesting. I'll have to keep an eye out for the local launch as I've not been able to see anything on the dealer sites so far.Hi FatRob, I'm also in Brisbane....
The letter from Brisbane Motorcycles says there will be a VIP launch night main January of the scramblers, no firm delivery date yet but hopefully soon after!
Welcome Feli,Hi FatRob, I'm also in Brisbane and just got the best Xmas present ever when my wife gave me a letter from Brisbane Motorcycles in a box stating she ordered an Urban Enduro for me!
I also come from a Harley background - last bike was a 2012 Street Bob with lots of mods, sold in May this year as I hadnt been using it much since becoming a dad.

This is also my first post here as I had been doing some research on the bike from seeing it in magazines earlier this year but now that I got one on the way I'm very keen to find out all about it! Can't wait for after-market exhausts too... Hopefully Akrapovic and / or Remus makes some as the Termis are expensive and have an ugly logo on it!
