Hi everyone, I just picked up a 2016 Full Throttle a couple days ago. I went in to the dealer to put a deposit on a red icon, but really liked the full throttle they had in stock!

This is my first bike, and my only experience riding is on a moped about 18 years ago (rode it for 2 years). I've always wanted a motorcycle, but nothing peaked my interest until I stumbled upon the scrambler a couple months ago.

I've put 100 miles on it so far, and I love it!

ATGATT. Practice lots in parking lots and back roads and don't let your confidence (and the confidence this bike inspires) get ahead of your abilities. Enjoy the incredible machine!

Welcome! I too bought my Scrambler as a first bike. I put about 1000 miles on the bike before completing the Motorcycle Ohio safety course this past weekend. It definitely helped instill some good habits, and I would highly recommend it even if you start to get comfortable. I see you're in Ohio, whereabouts? I'm in Columbus.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm still getting used to it, but I'm much less fearful of riding than I was a couple days ago. It helps that I have friends that are experienced riders.

I'm also in Columbus. I was considering the safety course at iron pony, is that the one you took?

The state course is the exact same thing, but only $50. Iron Pony's course is over $200! There are no state courses in Franklin County for the month of August, so I went to Delaware. Not so bad getting up there, especially in the morning. Check out this link for scheduling: ODPS | Motorcycle Ohio

I'm down in the Old Towne East neighborhood, just east of downtown. Stay in touch, and maybe we'll cross paths.
