need help from fellow forum members who have got their Scramblers.

mainly the following but please feel free to add any other relevant tips too:

1. what all did you have to check for while accepting the delivery?

2. is there a standard packing list of what comes in 'the box'?

3. anything else to 'watch out' for?

I know that such a checklist and any other insights from the immensely knowledgable folks here would be very valuable for a first time Ducati owner like me. it might help others too who are awaiting delivery.

many thanks in advance for your help!

Theres no checklist as such. Just go over your bike with your dealer present to ensure that you're happy with everything. Anything you're not happy with raise as an issue, any scratches, marks, anything you're not happy with. Ensure that the dealer tells you what the next steps will be to putting right the problem.

Make sure that any extras you've ordered have been fitted. If they haven't your dealer may not be able to tell you when they'll receive them but they should acknowledge that they are missing and will be fitted when they arrive.

Make sure all of the doumentation is in order for your country.

Really its the same as anything else you buy. Just make sure you're happy with everything.
