Just got a phone call and picture from dealer, and it will be ready to pick up today! :D I'm beyond excited except for the fact it's currently snowing! I'll probably pick it up Saturday since it should be warm enough. Apparently I will be the first in the US to take delivery according to my dealer!

Very cool, congratulations! My dealer in Pennsylvania says my Icon is still showing as on the water. But my high Termi exhaust is in! Here's hoping the weather changes for you very soon! Weather here in New York is perfect for a ride on a new bike, you could ship it here.

Nice! I was attending a wedding in Denver about 10 years ago and stopped into that very dealership to kill time and ended up test riding a Moto Guzzi Griso (first year it was out.) And then I followed a girl on a smallframe vespa into an alley and it turned out to be the location of Casa Lambretta, so I ended up going in there and BSing for a while and buying some 10" tires for my Vespa.

I'm anxious to see what you think of the US spec bike. Also, a few of my motorcycle buddies into vintage stuff moved to Denver recently. I'm curious if you'll run into them at some point.

Thanks for the all the comments guys! I bailed out of work early tonight to head over and check her out in person! They're prepping the bike now and putting connections on for the battery tender. My guy over there was super cool and said "hey do you want this ugly evap canister on there?". Uh heck no I replied, so he said they'll pull it off and tidy it up for me :D

Seriously everyone in the shop was super excited about the bike and I guess they've all been checking it out all day long. The shop ordered a bike of their own they're going to cut up and make into a custom which should be extremely cool since they do incredible work.

Unfortunately it's been snowing and raining all day and is currently 36F with an 80% chance of snow overnight, so I probably won't be taking delivery until Tuesday (they're closed Sunday and Monday). I wasn't planning to snowboard again this year, but they have 3 feet of new snow so I'll be doing that Saturday.

Here is what my Jeep looked like when I got home from the dealer (why I'm not riding it right now!) along with a couple snaps I took with my phone when I checked it out. Super stoked!!

That's a great story! I'd love to hook up with some other guys into vintage bikes. I seriously love every type of bike there is and have had a majority of the styles - I actually ride even ride dirt about 3x more often than street. There's a few cool bars on Broadway where the vintage crowd seems to hang out, so maybe I'll have to stop in and say hi. Hopefully they won't beat me up for bringing a new bike ;)
