I've owned my beautiful red Icon for 6 weeks, and have covered just over 1000 miles. I think that this is the best motorcycle I have ever owned, in over 40 years of riding.
This bike is a true do it all; I can potter about the countryside, ride easily in town and urban areas, and I can race about the A + B roads if the mood takes me. This bike takes it all in it's stride, and completes all the tasks with a great sense of fun and alround ability.
As you can see from the picture, I have the Termi race fitted. With the baffle in it is plenty loud enough for me, and sounds fantastic. I have also fitted Evotech adjustable levers, as I like to adjust to suit my riding style. I also have a bash plate on order from Ducati. Other than that, there is not much I want to change. I like the number plate hanger, prefering it to the tail tidy modification; I think it looks well designed, and gives the bike individuality, rather than another ubiquitous tail tidy. I did think of putting on Rizoma indicators, that I had previously used on another bike. But when I tried them, I preferred the stock indicators, as I think they give an authentic 60/70s look to the bike.
So as you can probably tell, I love my Scrambler! and I hope you all love your Scramblers too!

Evotech adjustable levers

Hi Simon, pleased you are enjoying your new bike. When I had a test drive on the Icon I struggled with the reach of the clutch due to having very small hands. Have the adjustable levers made very much difference ? I have to wait until July for my bike, wish I had ordered it sooner! Regards Carol

You feel right at home with it like me. I may get some new levers too but ok with stock at the moment. I switched to Rizoma that I had from previous bike but agree the stock are good. If you do swap you don't need resistors but the front ones you have to lift the tank and get the connectors half way down so good reason not too.
I just also fitted Termi and yes its loud with baffle and waiting for other parts to come. Enjoy your bike and keep everyone else excited with good things.:)

Hi Dukes,

I'll see is if can remember them, here goes: (in chronological order);
Cotton Minarelli 220 Trials bike, 1960's first bike I owned, used it in fields and a quarry before I coluld ride on the road.
Yamaha YS3 125, first road bike, then RD250 yamaha, GT 750 Suzuki , Yamaha XS 1100.
Moved to London and bought a Honda XL 125, then TZR 125 Yamaha. Gilera 180 scooter,
Suzuki Bergman 400. Suzuki SV 650. Kawasaki KLE 500. Moto Guzzi V750 Cafe. KTM 390 Duke. Honda CB 650F.

I think that is all, but my memory is not what it was!
