Yea I'm going over from Ireland specifically to see the bike in the flesh before I decide to order.

Anybody know or heard about the accessories yet. They were mentioned in the launch but very briefly

Hi Dog Star can you lets us know how you get on, i am also from Ireland but will not be able to go over.
Also if you do get a scrambler where would you get yours from, as i believe there is only one dealer in Ireland.
Cheers

Will do Darren, yes only one duc dealer in Ireland but any bike shop will be able to get you one. If I do decide to buy one I will get it from kennedys motorcycles drogheda because that's who I've always dealt with.

Cheers Dog Star, I didn't know any shop could get you one, do they get it from Ducati itself or Rosso Ducati Ireland

OK, I got no response from the dealer I've placed my deposit with about whether the Scramblers were going to be at the NEC so I rang them - and was rather surprised to be told the dealer expected the bikes would be there, but they were too busy to confirm, and asked if I read MotorCycle News! ( I'm not sure if this level of customer service is normal, all I can say is I was rather disappointed..) Anyhow, I then checked the Ducati main site, and as there was no relevant information there I completed the e-form and.. today I had a telephone call from Bologna to confirm that Ducati will be showing the Scramblers (and their other new bikes) at the NEC…

So, I'll be going - who else?

Darren they will try Rosso first and if they can't supply they will get straight from Ducati. There shouldn't be a middle man cut because rosso will supply to another motorcycle dealer with a couple of hundred slashed from the price they will quote you. Your locale dealer will just add this on and give to you for the same price as rosso. Your local dealer will be glad for you to buy from him as he will get the after sale work tyres, service etc provided he has the tools and and know how to work on ducati bikes.
