It should be the same as a Monster 796. I'd look that up and see if it's something you'd do yourself.

One thing to think about... When I was researching getting a used Monster, I learned that a lot of people look specifically for the dealer stamps or authorized shops for the valve adjustments when they buy a used Ducati. So if you go to sell it, and if you did it yourself, you'll need to convince them you knew what you were doing.
