Any clues for more travel?
I am proud owner of the urban enduro.

I come from a husqvarna 610 TE and this is definetely not one, which i knew before.
Cool Bike on road, but it aint capable of much offroad. To my opinion it lacks more travel and of course some knobs for adjustments.
That would do !
Problem is with my 82 Kilo the exhaust touches Ground in right curves and i cant switch gear in fast left curves, cause my feet wont fit between road and gear shifter.
I hit bottom with engine couple of times in the woods where i didnt expected it on little bumps i just passed and the front fork hammered through with metal on metal ( no rubber stops in fork!?) when i hit a root accidentally.

I know there is some Ohlins cartridge for the front, but then still only 150mm travel.
For the back aint no solution yet.

I checked the Forks from the hypermotard, same size , so they should fit, this would at least add 20mm.
But again a cheap fork without any adjustment.

Did anyone try something else, other models?
My dealer said, the cagiva elephant may fit, since it has the ducati engine?
Or i could change the whole setup to the one from the hypermotard SP, 180mm and cool Marzocchis, but i had to change crown, forks, brakes etc...
to expensive.

This may occur only to urban enduro riders, but i bet i am not the only one interested in 180mm travel and decent suspension.

scrambler is good enough for unpaved roads, but you are trying something too hard for her..... after you would adjust sunspension, you will need a 21 at front, and more dirty roads tyres.... as weel as more sngle on fork and 30 kgs less.... the hsndlabar is not so high to let you drive standing on footpegs, that are street one

abt the gear, you need to put the link upside down, having 1st gesr up and all other down, you could than have higher gear pushing the lever

Why do you need to shift gears at those extreme leaning angles? Gear should IMHO be set down already before to accelerate out of the corner, no? Engine is so elastic that this should be no problem with appropriate cornering technique, plenty torque all over the rev band... Besides I would consider downshifting at a 60° angle outright dangerous, even with the APTC wonderclutch. Don´t want to force a highsider...

when I ride Alp passes like passo di stelvio and many other...
You enter the switchback or turn in second gear and then i have to shift in third while still in heavy angle... Or I would like to, but my shoe kisses ground.

And what do you do about the exhaust touching ground in right curves? 82 Kilos is average i guess. I also touched it once going slower with a co- rider. I mean this is life dangerous. The limit is not the tire or what i dare, its the exhaust. Just imagine a little bump in that curve and it´ll lift me up and out...
And I know : go slower...
I cant >:D

And the offroad capabilities would be perfect with hypermotards 165 or 180 mm in the front , plus a lift in the back.
It will only be for urban enduro riders interesting though.
But for me its a matter.

I will contact matris and Ohlins and see if they can do...
Let you know.
