I ordered the full throttle back in October with a £500 deposit and changed it in January to a red icon. I was given march as a date for delivery in Northern Ireland and when I was told when I changed it would still be march. My dealer is now confused and can't give me a date but when I phoned ducati Glasgow on Tuesday the guy told me he could guarentee me a icon by the end of march! Is there any dealers on the site that can clarify the process for ordering?

Its all a bit odd. My dealer says they will get one for April for me, thats when I would like it anyway yet the next closest dealer reckons a 3 week wait. Maybe each dealer has a certain allocation?

I guess each dealer will get allocated a certain amount of bikes based on projected sales.

It's all starting to piss me off ! Also spoke to the parts guy who hasn't a clue when he will get the information in yet I'm reading that guys over in England have ordered and received there exhausts etc. so far my first dealing with ducati has been shocking!

Not all that surprised as i have witnessed frustration from others here, i guess Ducati could have better handled distribution of the scrambler, even more so that it's a higher volume product.

I was told today by Ducati dealer that Ducati have under estimated how popular the scrambler is! Some dealers will get bikes/accessories quicker than others, I was in the bike trade a few years ago and certain dealers are favourites with the manufacturers and they will probably get stuff quicker
