Hi Guys,
if you have changed to bar end mirrors like I have, and are wondering what to do with the original mirror fitting threaded holes, then i can recommend you check out SP Engineering
I have just recieved a very nice pair of black anodised Aluminium threaded plugs from them at £8.95.

Ive no connection with the company but Im pleased with the product

Hi DJKham, I just ordered the in the website buy they contacted me asking about the diameter of plug required, I dont have my bike yet so Im wondering if you can tell me is they are 8mm or 10mm?

I dunno what size they are but they are labelled as "mirror plugs Ducati" on their site and they fit:

The seller's name is "OnceMore" but they don't appear to have the item for sale any more.

It's worth noting that there appears to be a bit of discoloration on the black anodized part of the mirrors...not sure if they will turn "copper color" as many inexpensive black anodized parts do but I will keep you posted.

Meanwhile, these appear to be very similar (just don't have the blue tinted glass) and are less expensive:

Thank you guys! I just ordered them, just need to wait about 2weeks to get down to Costa Rica. Hopefully by that time I will have my bike.

Just a heads up guys the clamp isn't actually equal height on both sides so by flipping the clamp upside down it actually isn't clamping the surface properly...

The scrambler BTW is M10 and one if RH and one if LH.

But after looking at them installed I elected just to machine them so they look 100% correct, this is the CAD rendering, I will have the final machined parts in a couple weeks, too many projects at the moment.
