Hi all. Got my new classic around 10a.m. this morning of the 11th. I went on 3 separate rides throughout the day. My fuel warning light came on at 158 miles from the full gas tank the dealer gave me. There were 3 miles on the odo when I began. I went another 14 miles and then stopped and threw 10 bux in. Amazing mileage for break-in I thought. I'm done thinking about gas at this point throughout til the end of ownership. Anyways, thought Id let everyone know since there were some concerns. :)
BTW...bike is great. A little nervy on bumpy corners but besides that, cool in every imaginable way. Had the time of my life and glad I called out SICK! >:D
I tired a little wheelie around 1030 a.m.. Is that wrong??? 0:)
Pics up in a few days in a new thread. Gone riding!

Use your phone :) I photograph my lunch and take at least 10 pics of my kid every day though, so I may be the exception to random roadside Scrambler photos.
That's cool. for some reasons photos are never my "go to" I don't know why....just don't think of it! All the pics of my previous bikes were luckily photographed by my wife whil she was taking a pic of me. So counter culture huh??? ;)

Congratulations Pete. With more than 500 posts before you got the bike I suppose the frequency of posting will dwindle now. Enjoy the bike mate. Ride safe!
Yes, Ive been riding like mad. Trying to get as much time in as I can before my kids get out of school. Tomorrow is their last day! :DI did always have a bike I was riding in the meantime though Phil. v7 guzzi and a vstrom and a Harley and an R1...all belonging to a buddy. Nice guy huh?
