Hi from Melbourne, Today I've got a call from Ducati City, My Scrambler red icon is coming in the first batch. They told me that I will be riding in 2-3 weeks! I cannot wait!

The next 2-3 weeks will be hard, youre going to be all antsy before taking delivery. When did you place your order? Not sure how many Scramblers to expect in that first batch but what ever it is, i'll be excited to see what ever from that batch shows up here

Just spoke to Ducati City Melbourne and looks like they got allocation for all their orders in the first batch!

Update from today: First container due 26/3 with 60 Icon Yellow. Not a single Red one
Second container due on 19/4 hopefully with Red Icons there
Anyone is getting one of theses 60 bikes? Juts curiosity, anyone getting a Red one in the first batch?

That must be a few containers as you'd imagine only 5-8 bikes would fit in a 20' container - maybe 10-15 on a 40'?
I got told last week my Urban Enduro was on the shipment arriving 10/4, and that red icons aren't coming till April either... Go figure, until the bike is here no info seems reliable at all!

Agree with that. Talking to Gold Coast Ducati yesterday all I got was "Should be ready by the end of the month"
Works for me, I can get a lift down there one afternoon next week and ride it back, avoid the motorway and probably go over Tamborine to keep the revs varying.

Getting the run around from Brisbane Motorcycles, delivery date is now sometime next week, I don't know when because I'm again waiting on a phone call promised yesterday morning. Bloody hopeless.
Apparently the bikes are at Neil Fraser Imports in Sydney and will be shipped out when they feel like it. (my interpretation of their story)
Bullshit story I got is that they will leave yesterday and hopefully arrive Brisbane early next week, I'm in transport and offered to pick them up yesterday afternoon and have them at the dealers door this morning, no response, which is becoming the norm, so far in a relatively short timeframe I've had four promised return calls not made.
