I understand that made in Thailand is for Asian markets, and the quality is supposed to be the same. However, wonder if anyone has any further insight about this. Thanks!

I read that all markets except Italy are made in Thailand.

Upon my further read from the internet, it appears to me that the made in Italy ones are for European market, while made in Thailand ones are for others.

In any way i've been told that Ducati factory built nothing, they just assemble parts from contractors (and it's confirmed by every video about thier factory i've seen).

So Thailand or Italy will be exactly the same.

Maybe, but don't forget the coolness factor. When you're stopped at a light and somebody looks over and says "What is that, a rice burner?", you can slowly turn to him/her and nonchalantly reply " Nope, it's a pasta burner, made in Italy" with a wry grin on your face and then speed away pulling a wheelie when the light turns green.
Or so I imagine it.
